A Finnish consumer bought a product from an Icelandic web trader, but never received it. The consumer contacted ECC-Finland who forwarded the case to ECC-Iceland. The trader believed they had sent the product twice already, but since it never arrived, the trader agreed to refund all the consumer’s costs

The ECC believes there is reason to warn consumers about online ticket sale euroteam.info, which sells tickets to various events. In May 2009, a sweep investigation was launched on websites selling electronics. At the time only 44% of the sites were in accordance with EU laws, but following the sweep 84% now comply with the law. The sweep was carried out by national authorities in 26 member states, Iceland
